Good News and Bad News

calophi February 26th, 2007

The good news is we will have a release for you on March 1st! So everyone be prepared for it!

The bad news is that Hitsuji no Namida has been licensed. It isn’t slated for release until January 2008, so we will at least finish up this volume before we stop production on it (maybe more, depending on how fast Jellyfishy gets them out). We will also release all of our rough translations that we have stockpiled up for you all to enjoy too, so you’ll have something to tide you over.

We haven’t set up any tests for hiring staff or anything, but the truth is we wouldn’t mind having an extra Japanese translator - and by we I mean especially me. I’m very interested in working on Toki*Meka, so if there’s anyone interested in translating that let me know and I’ll buy a copy right away!

Happy Birthday - I guess, haha. I’m sad to see possible-soup close, but I’m glad that Gokusen will continue on.

Ah, thank you for the notice about Hitsuji no Namida. I’m eternally grateful that you guys will complete that volume~ (Suwa introduction!), as to not leave the readers in suspense till ‘08.

Thank you guys, for continuing from Impossibility.
Just thank you guys a lot for your willingness to give us such terrific scanlations.

    Happy Birthday too!

I didn’t know it’s your birthday today. Happy Birthday! Otanjoubi Omedetou gozaimasu!! So, you’re Piscean too, ay? ^-^

I see that Toki*Meka is Naoko’s one. Sailormoon was once my favourite manga ^-^. I really love to check out her Toki*meka too.

We’re technically a new group now, won’t our birthday be with our first release on March 1st? :)

I believe it was CMX who licensed it. I don’t really know much about them though…

Hey, I’m a major Gokusen fan and would like to see more releases of it soon! =D Oh yeah, could I ask if you guys are looking for more editors? Because I really don’t mind joining up if it means quicker releases of Gokusen! ;) I’m quite familiar with Photoshop, but haven’t any experience with manga editing but just a lookup or two at the various tutorials available, and I should be fine! =)
